Cranberry Lodge is a new cottage built in 2025. It has a total living space of approximately 2100 square feet between the main floor and upstairs. Our goal is to make you feel at home while on vacation with all the amenities The Lodge has to offer during your Northern Michigan getaway.
The main floor has a large living area, kitchen, full bathroom, master bedroom with connected full bathroom, two more bedrooms each with a king bed, and washer/dryer. The living area includes a smart TV and electric fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a dishwasher, oven, stove, large island with seating and large dining room table. The bedrooms have closets for storage.
The upstairs has a bonus bedroom with two full beds to sleep four up there and full bathroom. Included in the bonus room are two gaming tables: an arcade table and a 3-in-1 foosball, pool, and air hockey table. The arcade table has hundreds of games to choose from to enjoy for all ages! High speed Wi-Fi and a work desk with office chair are available upstairs as well - just in case!
There are both front and back patios to enjoy nature. Make sure to enjoy relaxing and hanging out in the hot tub on the back patio!
Do you love dogs? We do too! Cranberry Lodge is a pet friendly cottage and welcomes well-behaved dogs for a small pet fee. The nearby walking trails ensure that your pup will get plenty of exercise and fresh air!
Everything in Glen Arbor is walkable. Located approximately 1/2 mile from restaurants, shops, the grocery store, township park, and multiple wineries and 2 miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan Beaches - it doesn't get any better than this!
The amenities of Cranberry Lodge and proximity to Downtown Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes makes this a perfect getaway.
Other Details to Note
Cranberry Lodge has well water. It is safe to drink, but some guests prefer to bring bottled water for drinking.
There is an Echo Dot, a voice-controlled smart speaker with Alexa, in the cottage for use by guests. If guests prefer, the Echo Dot can be turned off and will only function as a clock, not a smart device.
In addition, there are white noise machines provided in each bedroom. These are not connected to the internet in any way. They simply can be turned on for white noise while sleeping if you prefer. Otherwise they can be left off.

Cranberry Lodge is located 1/2 mile from downtown Glen Arbor. Cranberry Lodge is part of Cranberry Ridge, and just across the natural bog where our other four individual cozy cottages are located. Sleeping Bear Dunes and Lake Michigan beaches are approximately 2 miles away from the property.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire cottage, except for the garage.

Our stay here was wonderful. It’s the perfect location, great house, the hosts are so accommodating. You can tell they care about their guests being happy. So much attention to detail. You have everything you need. The house was spacious and bright. We loved the privacy of the backyard for being in the hot-tub and having a fire. It was clean and comfy. Perfect stay!

This home exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal - peaceful and private, yet just minutes from downtown Glen Arbor. The property is beautifully maintained, with modern finishes and thoughtful amenities throughout. Both the kitchen and bathrooms were exceptionally well stocked, and having three full bathrooms was perfect for our group. The beds were very comfortable, and the extra blankets were a nice touch. We also appreciated the selection of games for the kids, the convenience of two washers and dryers, and the relaxing hot tub surrounded by beautiful scenery. We’d gladly stay here again!

This a beautiful, modern home near to downtown Glen Arbor in the heart of the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. We loved staying here in this beautiful home, surrounded by gorgeous nature, and the residence is chock full of amenities. Owner is very responsive and instruction for check-in and check-out were very clear. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again.

The Cranberry Lodge listings are as amazing as they look in the photos. Highly recommend staying if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Glen Arbor. It is walkable to downtown, drivable to great restaurants, and a great home base to see all of the great surrounding areas. Easy check in, easy checkout, and amenities were great!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location couldn’t be better, just a short, easy walk right into Glen Arbor, which made exploring the town so convenient. The house was spotless (truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in) and had such a cozy, homey vibe that made us feel comfortable the second we walked in. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and it had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We had the best time and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

John's house is better than the listing says. It is a beautiful, new build. John's house had more amenities than any other vacation rental we have previously rented. Just show up! The house has everything. The location is peaceful and has a country feel even though it is 1/2 mile from downtown. It is possible to walk to town from the house. The walk is on the shoulder of a busy road, but Glen Arbor is full of good restaurants, shops, and a great park. We recommend this house for anyone wanting a peaceful, stress-free vacation.
